    Verdict

A small field but plenty of interest in some promising types though the form pick has to be SCINTILLULA. Runner-up to Sky Lantern in the Moyglare at the Curragh, she didn't fare quite so well in the Rockfel at Newmarket on her final start but entries in all the main races suggests she's expected to have a big season. Kerisa ran well behind some smart performers in her four starts and should do better now stepped up in trip as should Say, who took a long time to get going on her debut at Navan in October but stayed on very strongly once getting the hang of the job. Magical Steps made a very nice debut at the Curragh in August and Jessica Harrington's beautifully-bred filly is one to note while Etesian has a fitness advantage though will need to have come on a great deal for her run at Cork.
