Custom Cut, formerly trained in Ireland, has done brilliantly for David O'Meara, completing a Listed double at Windsor and Pontefract. He's certain to go well but was over a length behind Sruthan at the Curragh in April and is only 3lb better off. The latter hasn't been seen since well beaten in the Lockinge in May but goes well fresh so that won't be a concern. Ansgar also has a penalty for last month's Group Three victory at the Curragh and he's very closely matched with Sruthan on their form at the Curragh last September when they were both behind BRENDAN BRACKAN. Ger Lyons' charge has returned to top form and is given the nod in a tight affair. Three-year-olds have a very good record in this and Palace gets all the allowances and found the Irish Oaks stretching her stamina after landing a Listed event at Killarney over this trip.
