FLIGHT RISK, who won this in 2017, only had three runs last season, all in October, and has returned better than ever judging by an impressive victory over a mile here last week. He'll take some beating and older horses have a much better record than three-year-olds in the race. Inverleigh represents the younger brigade and looked a likely future Group winner when landing a Navan Listed race in April and wasn't at his best at Naas last time. Aidan O'Brien runs two from the younger group with Fire Fly probably the pick though she's disappointed this season and was beaten in a handicap last time. Gordon Lord Byron has won 16 times though not for over two years, but he ran his best race for a very long time when runner-up to Mr Lupton in a Curragh Group 2 last month. Rionach was only beaten in a close finish by Happen at the Curragh last month but didn't build on that at Naas when well supported.
