None of these have won over the trip but Fernando Vichi landed a Listed contest over 1m4f here and was by no means disgraced in the Irish Derby. INTERPRETATION is looking a potentially smart stayer having beaten a couple of useful performers over 1m5f here last month. He's taking a step-up in class but entries in the Voltigeur and St Leger suggest he's expected to make the transition. Taipan ran poorly here last week and hasn't rediscovered his early season form but Port Sunlight looks a potentially useful stayer having just been touched off under a big weight in a Galway handicap. Kirkland Lady certainly impressed over 1m4f at Galway and she has stayers pedigree.
