A moderate-looking maiden but Sunwalk would have to be respected on his head defeat at Gowran though he disappointed at Tipperary. River Derwent has joined Joseph O'Brien after a couple of moderate all-weather runs in the UK while Prince Hector chased home the odds-on Emilie Gray at a safe distance at Galway. The winner is trained by Dermot Weld who has MUTASARREF entered here. A son of Dark Angel out of a 7f winner, he was well supported on his debut at Naas in June and though beaten eight lengths showed enough promise to suggest a race of this nature would be within his capabilities.
