In depth

Verdict

A strange-looking race to say the least with just five runners and the same number of reserves due to the race conditions. CRYSTAL MORNING didn't quite have the pace to see off the persistent challenge of Anam Alta over 7f at Galway and is better over this trip. She should gain her second victory from just 1lb higher and Colour Of Love was almost five lengths behind at Galway. Barrow Island has been running quite well in tough handicaps without finding a finishing burst while Toufan Express showed his first sign of form for some time behind Iron Major at Galway and has dropped to a fair mark. Six Silver Lane won a minor handicap at Wexford but disappointed on softer ground at Galway next time.
