Verdict
Following a promising debut, Courtland Avenue was a little disappointing when favourite at Bath three weeks ago. He drops to 5f for the first time here, however, and can't be ignored. Knocker Knowles needs to improve on his third at Ffos Las to win here but Gin Twist should be difficult to keep out of the frame again, though would probably prefer a slightly quicker surface. GUAVA's fifth at Windsor last month looks the best on offer here, however, and the filly can get off the mark today having shown plenty of speed when dropped to this trip at Sandown last time.
