Some expensive but so far disappointing types here. John Oxx complicates matters by saddling Pour Deux, a 260,000gns yearling who showed some potential as a juvenile, and the newcomer Thou Swell, a half-brother to two winners. The Galileo colt Torrey Pines is out of a mare who has produced winners with her first three foals. He showed only moderate form in his first season but was always more likely to do better in his second campaign and can make his presence felt. SALTHOUSE showed the benefit of a fair opening run at Limerick with a very encouraging effort behind the potentially-useful Outspoken at Navan late last month. Jim Bolger brings him out again quickly and he's taken to go one better. Dream Craft was staying on in what looked a decent maiden at Fairyhouse and can also get into contention.
