Verdict

Aidan O'Brien won the first four renewals before Douglas Macarthur was beaten at odds-on a year ago. He has three entries here and Ryan Moore is on board the superbly bred DELANO ROOSEVELT, who will need to improve greatly from his narrow victory here but gives every indication he'll do so and he's in all the big juvenile events. Stable companion Kew Gardens easily landed the odds on soft ground at Killarney and Nelson did likewise when making all over the track and trip though the latter had no answer to the impressive Riyazan at the Curragh earlier. Camelback completed a double before heading into Group 2 company in the Futurity at the Curragh and wasn't beaten far but the main threat looks to be Theobald, who has finished runner-up to a pair of Ballydoyle inmates here and at the Curragh after his debut course and distance victory.
