Privilege makes his handicap debut after a comfortable maiden victory at Tipperary on ground with some give. Strictly on official handicap ratings, METAPHORICAL (NAP) should have no problems winning this. He beat the 103-rated Emporio at Listowel, with Diamil behind, then finished a close third at level weights behind the 104-rated Storm Legend at Naas on Saturday after which the assessor raised him an astonishing 17lb. Alex D hasn't been finding much at the business end but Maralinga, who had shown very little in maidens, was well supported for a course and distance handicap last month and came with a late run to snatch the spoils.
