      Verdict

      Real Appeal is 3-5 around here and, though carrying a 5lb penalty for his victory in a Group 2 here with Georgeville in sixth, he ended the last campaign with a fine run in the Breeders’ Cup Mile. Patrick Sarsfield had an excellent 2020 but wasn’t quite as good last term where he looked Listed class at best while Pretreville has also looked just short of this level since arriving from France. FANTASY LADY had just three runs last spring culminating in a close fifth in the Irish 1,000 Guineas. She has the scope to be a high-class filly and, though returning from a long break, should be tuned up to make a successful return. Ivy League takes a leap in class after landing a Naas handicap but his yard would have had plenty of options for this.
