Dermot Weld has won this four times in eight years so Emergent, a maiden winner at Navan in October, has to be respected despite a poor run in a Listed contest there last month though she did have Kind Of Magic behind. Misty Millie landed a maiden at that same Navan fixture in a canter and deserves her place in this line-up though conditions will be very different. NOW OR NEVER (NAP) finished runner-up in a Curragh Group 2 in August though there were only four runners, She reappeared with a decent effort behind Jet Setting in the 1,000 Guineas Trial here last month and can go one better. Radiantly was around five lengths behind in that latter event but has always looked much more likely to stay this sort of trip and she can get much closer. Siamsaiocht was a long way behind the selection at Galway in July but ended her campaign finishing runner-up in a Listed event at Dundalk and she should do well this season.
