Last year's Irish National winner LORD LARIAT reverts to hurdles on a 37lb lower mark with his rider also claiming 5lb so he's very difficult to oppose. His stablemate Wa Wa beat a huge field of handicappers over timber at Navan and is also on a considerably lower mark than over fences despite going up 8lb. Pure Sirloin was making his handicap debut when scoring by a short-head on the latter track but this looks tougher from 4lb higher while Loup De Tallane's Wexford victory was achieved on heavy ground.
