Takarengo didn't run well in an amateurs' race here last time but is the only course winner in the line-up. Nusra is 2lb out of the handicap and has never won in 20 starts but RICH BELIEF has been in excellent form over hurdles and reverted to the Flat with a fine run at Galway last week so gets the nod. Derrinlaur has never won but found 1m5f just too short at Gowran and looks certain to get into contention. The in-form Matthew Smith has booked Colin Keane for Arabian King, a winner over hurdles at Killarney last month but well beaten on the level at Galway as was stable companion No Thanks.
