Three-year-olds take on their elders with greater regularity now and RAIN GOD is taken to put one over the older brigade and register a success for Aidan and Ana O'Brien. He's improved over two starts this term and was only beaten a length and a half at the Curragh on Sunday in the competitive handicap won by Eastern Rules. It's significant he comes to the table so quickly and faces similar conditions to those which pertained over the weekend. Caesaria has shown useful form on all three starts having been unraced as a juvenile but was engaged to run at Fairyhouse yesterday. Greek Canyon has it to do at the weights, whilst Almadaa is more effective on Polytrack so Red Laser, a Gowran Park winner over a mile on quick ground on his penultimate run, is a better shortlist option.
