MADAM SEAMSTRESS (NAP) had shown glimpses of ability over longer trip last season so it was a surprise when she dropped down to the minimum at Naas on Saturday. She started 25/1 but stayed on gamely to lead close home and there's no reason why the longer trip shouldn't suit. Mary Salome made very good progress in her first campaign culminating in a victory over an extended 6f at Cork. A mark of 79 may be underestimating her ability while Chamrousse showed much better form on Turf before disappointing when favourite at Dundalk. Royal Court hasn't been beaten far in six starts since his debut though looks exposed but Winiata could prove well handicapped. A comfortable maiden winner at Limerick, she got no sort of run in a nursery over the track and trip later and should have more to offer.
