In depth

Verdict

Tirmizi is the only course winner in the line-up though that was on his racecourse debut in 2015 and his best recent efforts have been over further. Rockfish has been unable to recapture the form that saw him win four times last spring though makes a quick reappearance after his run at Navan on Saturday. Captain Dan has only had four runs, landing a novices' race at Wolverhampton. He ran well on his handicap debut there and has his first start on Turf. Bercasa has yet to win but has run some very good races over trips too short and warmed up with a decent run over hurdles a month ago. LATCHET has only won once but has been in good form throughout the winter. Kevin Manning takes over from an apprentice and Jim Bolger's mare can double her winning tally.
