CARA'S REQUEST can make light of his penalty whilst conditions remain in his favour and record a third success of his career. His previous two wins came on heavy ground in his first season and on soft last week at Carlisle so he's clearly at home when the mud's flying and he still looks well handicapped on the best of his form. First Blade shaped well when last seen and should handle conditions, Piddie's Power has proved to be consistent on a faster surface whilst it will be very interesting to see if there's any market support for the out of form Sands Of Dee as he has won on heavy ground and hails from a yard whose horses are in rude health.
