Bulwark won well last time and can follow up today at the expense of Crete and Alessano. Amanda Perrett's colt responded to strong handling in that Warwick contest, beating Mahmjra by half a length. Kerrin McEvoy was on board that day and earned his fee, but Johnny Murtagh is just as strong and if the horse is a little reluctant we are sure the Irishman can force this one home. Crete has yet to run a bad race and doesn't look badly treated for his handicap debut. Alessano hails from the in form Gary Moore yard and is steadily improving, it will be difficult to keep this one out of the frame. Wujood and Sign Of Luck have also shown enough to warrant a mention but our idea of the winner is Bulwark.
