ROZNIC's resurgence continues apace and he may be able to add another notch to his tally stick. He has most to fear from College Ace and Fire And Rain. Roznic had slipped to a handy mark following a year without success and Tim Vaughan has taken advantage of that and placed him to win over hurdles and fences. He is now higher than his highest winning mark but he scored so easily at Newcastle that it's not hard to believe that he can rank a little higher still on that showing. College Ace is a fair sort on his day as he showed when winning easily at Huntingdon and he has been fairly treated by the assessor. He hasn't always been the most consistent in the past but he should be in the mix if able to reproduce a similar performance. Two Miles West drops markedly in grade and could be of interest if the market vibes are positive whilst the best efforts of Potts Of Magic and Meggie's Beau puts them in the frame but we're quite interested in Fire And Rain. He ran in the Leger in 2006 and has caught the eye once or twice since switching codes; he's yet to deliver and is trying fences for the first time but should be monitored. This is a tough place to start though so it makes more sense to side with Roznic.
