A decent looking handicap chase here and we'll side with YOU AND I to confirm the promise of his hurdling career ahead of Even Flo and Free World. The selection hails from the all-conquering Nicky Henderson stable and was fancied to run well on chase debut last time out before trailing home a well beaten fourth. That was the gelding's first run since May though and it may pay to forgive the horse a lacklustre effort and instead take hope from the fact that he did at least jump round. If this unexposed five-year-old can draw some improvement from that and strip fitter this time his handicap mark of 107 may prove lenient and we'll pick the horse with that in mind. Even Flo rates a big danger to our selection having had a spin over hurdles to blow away the cobwebs last time. Better known for her exploits over larger obstacles, Kim Bailey's charge won two decent handicap chases in the spring which prompted a rise to this mark of 106 but if back in that sort of form under conditions that suit the mount of Tom Siddall may well have more to offer before the handicapper takes over. Free World carries top weight but is not without hope for Warren Greatrex and Noel Fehily. This gelding remains winless after 11 starts but has shown some signs that a win might be possible off this mark of 115, most notably when third behind French Opera at Ascot last time. Although well beaten that day the form has stacked up with the winner going in again since and connections will be hopeful they've found the right race for this one today. Dune Raider keeps running well without really looking like winning and Prophete De Guy was well fancied before unseating at the first last time and could bounce back here. Not a bad race this one and we'll take You And I to improve and land it.
