PROMOTE’s debut win came on Tapeta but she followed that up with a second at Yarmouth behind a useful filly who was receiving 6lb. She may benefit from an extra furlong but should be too good for these. Lady Calcaria led until inside the final furlong at Redcar earlier this month and should be in the firing-line again being less exposed than Dancing Rave, who didn’t impress over this trip on the all-weather. Orchid Killer will need to take a step forward if she is to get off the mark but any market interest in Mick Channon’s Sixties Icon filly Modern Millie should be noted as she’s a full sister to one winner and a half-sister to another.
