BIG BOOM almost landed a gamble last time and he can gain his compensation today; the list of dangers is headed by Another Try and Moral Duty. The selection was beaten by the draw at Yarmouth last time but he ran really well and on the evidence of that effort he has to be supported. The draw is against him here today but he could be up to overcoming it. Another Try chased home Global Village at Kempton last time over 7f, but the key to his chance today is this shorter trip as his best form is over this sort of distance. Moral Duty had been running in the Czech Republic prior to a decent effort here last time when he finished third behind Plumage. He will relish these ground conditions and he has to be respected. Towy Boy has a good draw and he is consistent, but he hasn't won in 26 races and a place might again be the best that he can hope for. Big Boom looked like a certain future winner last time out and he gets our vote.
