ZAHRA'S PLACE looked likely to justify short odds before falling at the last here earlier this month and she can gain ample compensation by taking this contest, with the main dangers rated as Sun Quest and Red Admiral. The last mentioned ran better when chasing home Midnight Chase in another race at the same meeting that the selection ran in and Charlie Mann's gelding has to be respected. John Berry's Kadouchski has won his last two starts but the handicapper has taken note and he looks best watched today, while Coconut Beach is another that is probably too high in the weights now. Dunaskin has been running consistently well of late and should again be thereabouts as should Tim Vaughan's recent Taunton winner Sun Quest, although a 13lb rise for that success makes life more difficult today. Several of these have chances in a competitive finale but it is Zahra's Place that gets the vote.
