Highland Pass was well backed at Chester 12 days ago. He had every chance but only managed third, though is a pound lower now. Choral Music has won three of her last four but she’s always struggled when stepping out of Class 6 company in the past. Sussex Girl, who won at Brighton and Yarmouth in the autumn, is slowly returning to form but this could be a good opportunity for CULDROSE (NAP). She appeared to find 7f too short last time at Salisbury but the first three pulled well clear and the form may be decent. Claudine only found one too goo stepped up to a mile at Brighton and it would be no surprise to see her go one better while Beatbybeatbybeat and Zaria also enter calculations.
