In depth

Verdict

Randolph O'Brien is the obvious form choice here and he can get the better of Jour de Mee and Polish Pilot. The Nigel Twiston-Davies trained six-year-old has shown plenty of consistency in similar events this season. He is up against mainly out of form rivals this afternoon and should be capable of getting his head in front where it matters. Jour de Mee returns to chasing following a decent effort in a selling hurdle. Off his current mark he is entitled to go close, especially with ground conditions in his favour. Polish Pilot has been disappointing of late but has now dropped to a very lenient mark and should be watched any market move. Predestine can also be given a squeak on his best form, but Randolph O'Brien looks to have his easiest task of the season and he gets the decision.
