In depth

Verdict

If Foxmeade Dancer takes his chance he should be thereabouts, but on this occasion we will side with Iloveturtle, Caper may do best of the others. The soft ground brought about an improved performance by Iloveturtle last time when he chased home Tipp Top at Fakenham. With conditions once again in his favour he can go one better this afternoon. Caper has been showing up well in similar contests recently and it would be no surprise to see this one involved in the finish. Foxmeade Dancer ran just two days ago and was most impressive when beating Denarius Secundus. If non the worse for those exertions he should be in the shake up. It's A Cracker and Parkinson have shown very little form so far but are from big stables and should be monitored in the betting. However Iloveturtle has a lot going for him today and he gets the verdict.
