JOHNS SQUARE, Glimmer Of Light and Silver Steel are three of the more interesting runners in an open race. The selection attracts immediate attention given that he's owned by McManus, ridden by McCoy and trained by O'Neill. True, he's been beaten a total of two hundred and seventeen lengths in three starts over hurdles but he wouldn't be the first to improve for jumping a fence in handicap company and, let's be honest, this isn't a great race. Glimmer Of Light travelled well up to a point at Hereford and should benefit from reverting to the minimum. Silver Steel didn't achieve a great deal for Nicky Richards but he may benefit from a change of scenery and it will be interesting to see if he attracts any support. Tony Carroll's good form brings Fortune Point into the equation with Sarahs Gift and Poliglotti amongst others that are capable of taking a hand in proceedings but it's to Johns Square that we'll look for the winner.
