        Verdict

        A poor race to start matters off and ONE WAY TICKET rates as the most token of picks against Miracle Baby and Chalentina. The booking of Hayley Turner catches the eye tonight and with the handicapper playing his part by dropping the horse down to a rating of 42 and thereby into the bracket of this race, plenty of ticks are in the right boxes. Miracle Baby represents a yard that are in much better form than what they were. She has ran creditably at this venue in the past. Chalentina has a fair apprentice booked. That said, a win ratio of 1-31 hardly makes her bombproof as selections go. Buddy Marvellous was a cast off from the Richard Hannon stable and blinkers replace cheekpieces. Flamboyant Red was set to be partnered by a 7lb claimer at the five-day stage of declarations so it's interesting that Jimmy Quinn makes the cut today. Spanish Ace shapes with plenty of early pace. Mr Loire has lost his way. Nordic Light was the subject of massive support at Wolverhampton a couple of runs ago so the market is watched in order to see whether he is fancied to recoup losses tonight. One Way Ticket gets the call in a dire race.
