Verdict

STREET POWER can follow up a recent success with Lady Aspen and Downhill Skier both fancied to give a good account. It has been a dream start for Jeremy Gask's training career and with the assessor only punishing Street Power 4lb for a victory in a modest handicap last time out, we'll take our chance that this well bred sort can defy his rise from a favourable draw. Lady Aspen has had plenty of opportunities but finally got her head infront due to an astute ride. Downhill Skier has won two races this month and comes here at the top of his game. Duke Of Milan has been in good heart but invariably finds the one too good. Unfortunately the assessor has put him up for his thorough consistency. Takitwo seems to show his best work when racing this way around and could be considered to be well treated on some of his form of a couple of years ago. Ten Pole Tudor hasn't shown too much form around here so a note of caution is advised. Ike Quebec is a regular in plating contests whilst Is It Time was punted at longer odds last time out but finished last. Light The Light is watched in the market on handicap introduction. Street Power has less negatives than most and secures our nomination.
