In depth

Verdict

In a competitive contest for lady riders, marginal preference is for TIMETORING, who gets the vote ahead of Freedom Flying and Spider Boy. The selection landed a seller at massive odds at Chepstow back in November and although he looked outclassed in tough handicap thereafter he was not disgraced after finishing second to Alternator when dropped back into selling grade. He still looks more than capable of winning a handicap off his current mark and being in the hands of Isabel Tompsett he is sure to give his supporters a good run for their money. Freedom Flying has gone up 6lbs in the ratings since winning a selling handicap at Hexham last time out. He has held his form well of late and comes into the race fresh from a winter break so any market moves should be noted. Spider Boy is another worthy of respect and has won off his current mark in the past. He is tough and consistent and loves a slog so will be sure to battle towards the closing stages of the race. Timetoring is bred from a reliable family and if at his best he is sure to go close.
