This race is restricted to amateurs who have ridden no more than three winners and it isn’t the ideal getting-out stakes. Nikolayeva is probably well treated nowadays but Fern O’Brien, daughter of trainer Fergal, hasn’t taken long to make her mark and can win again on LOCKDOWN DREAM, who beat Licit easily at Ripon in August and confirmed the form at Catterick last month. Pillars Of Earth won in this grade at Yarmouth last week but has a penalty to carry but Lawmans Blis has been knocking on the door. He Can Dance has struggled over this far in the past, however.
