Verdict
AFAAK (NAP) won the 2019 Royal Hunt Cup when last running on genuinely soft ground. He was racing for only the second time this year when finding only the useful Nugget too good at Haydock last month and the handicapper may have let him off lightly by raising him just a pound. He had Chance almost three lengths behind at Newbury in August but the latter has also been lightly campaigned this year. National League keeps hinting that he’s on a decent mark at present but hasn’t won in two years. Dashing Roger beat Young Fire at Ascot in August but his old rival reversed the form at that track nine days ago, though both were well beaten.
