Sweet Oona was allowed to go off at 100/1 last time, but put in a tremendous effort to finish runner up to Rood Boy, she can go one better here today at the expense of Reseda and My World. The Venetia Williams trained six-year-old displayed much improved form in that Wincanton event going down by just half a length. As it was only her second outing following a long lay off she should be capable of further progression. Reseda looks the main threat to the selection following a smooth victory over Latin Queen at Taunton last time. That was just a hands and heels job so there could be plenty more in the locker. My World disappointed at Warwick last time, but his previous effort when defeating Mega D'Estruval at Lingfield puts him right in the picture here. Vanilla Moon has shown promise in two outings to date and looks the best of the remainder, however Sweet Oona is only has to repeat her last effort to take the honours here.
