This maiden looks quite tough but the vote goes to Jeremy Noseda's TOKUM ahead of King Torus and Aramid. Tokum's trainer is four from nine with his juvenile runners here in recent seasons so obviously likes to target this track. The selection has had the one run already but found things happening too quick for him and essentially was run off his feet. That experience should bring him on a tonne and the son of Danehill Dancer is expected to improve. Furthermore, he holds some notable entries later in the year so we will be very disappointed if he's not in the mix today. King Torus is from the all conquering Richard Hannon yard and must be respected on that basis alone. They too have plenty of two-year-old winners here and the market should provide some further clues. Aramid's stable won this race last year and their once raced son of Aussie Rules should be competitive here. He ran in a hot maiden on debut but looked badly in need of the experience. Postscript and Titus Two are others to note but Tokum is the selection.
