Verdict

Al Shabab came in for strong support on his Newbury debut but was very green then missed the break at Brighton so is expected to do better. HIGH POINT was always in the front rank when beaten half-a-length on soft ground at Epsom and normal progress can see him off the mark. Mr Monaco was going on at the finish over 6f at Salisbury while L'Equilibriste looks to have been well bought for €10,000 as she's by Dream Ahead out of a mare who has produced winners with her first two offspring.
