Verdict
EOLIAN was placed at Chepstow on his recent reappearance. Andrew Balding’s charge should be sharper for this and he gets the vote with an apprentice taking 7lb off his back. Laureate still looks a shade high in the weights after a third at Wolverhampton and a similar comment applies to Star Maker. Haldaw and Pondering should finish closer returning to 1m4f but Mr Davies showed no improvement stepped up to today’s trip at Doncaster last time.
