      Verdict

      FORT JEFFERSON (NAP) was a beaten favourite at Thirsk last week but only beaten half-a-length and this is a much less competitive affair. Edward Greatrex takes off 5lb and Andrew Balding's gelding shouldn't be denied this time. Ring Of Art probably needed his run at Beverley and is the likely danger as Sea Of Uncertainty is getting no respite from the handicapper, racing off a 3lb higher mark than when beaten in a Wolverhampton seller when last seen in April.
