Verdict
A cracking contest which has attracted a bumper entry. Lapilli steps up a couple of grades but it's hard to knock his record so far and he has the added bonus of Georgia Cox's 5lb claim. Majestic Hero is ultra consistent and Just That Lord is running well enough to get involved. Ashpan Sam just got collared by Highland Acclaim at Epsom but is better suited by turning tracks and will face a battle for the lead from Seeking Magic among others. Distant Past ran well in a Curragh handicap when last seen while Stepper Point and Tangerine Trees have run in much better races in the past. Dungannon loves these big-field handicaps but we'll take a chance that ALEEF is on a going day as he might just be suited by the way this race is run dropping back a furlong.
