In depth

Verdict

Judge 'n' Jury is back on form and was far from disgraced when third off this mark at Ascot earlier in the month, having raced prominently throughout. Sutton Veny finished a nose in front that day but is 5lb worse off here and will struggle to confirm the form. Sohraab beat Solemn at Salisbury in June and is a leading contender on his latest third at Epsom but Bathwick Bear was probably flattered by his second to Royal Rock at Yarmouth last week and faces a stiff task under top weight. Recent winners Secret Millionaire, Le Toreador and Ajjaadd all have to improve again if they are to figure off their new marks so we'll give another chance to HAZELRIGG. David Allan gets on well with Tim Easterby's six-year-old, who has been holding his own in better company this year, and he was only beaten half-a-length off this mark at Doncaster last month.
