Starlight Gazer, Material Witness and Angel Sprints make the shortlist here, with Starlight Gazer, in good form just now, taken to come out on top. Angel Sprints may not have won in almost two years but she has been knocking at the door lately, regularly finishing in the frame. She was narrowly beaten by an unexposed three year old last time, and can go close again here, though perhaps just lacking a finishing kick. Material Witness boasts a similar profile in that he has run well recently without getting his head in front. He also looks sure to run his race but his long winless run looks set to continue. Starlight Gazer won emphatically at Newbury before just being touched off by the prolific Guilded Warrior at Chepstow on Friday night. He is only four pounds higher here, and as there is no doubt he handles the ground, Starlight Gazer is a confident selection.
