In depth

Verdict

Mick Pastor had no chance against Shishkin at Kempton and faces nothing of that one’s calibre here. But a couple of his rivals could do well over fences including MONSIEUR LECOQ, who won three times over hurdles and was second in a Grade 3 on heavy going at Ascot last season. One For Rosie has been very lightly raced and could also figure if fully wound up but Whoshotthesheriff has been beaten twice since scoring at Carlisle in November and is giving away plenty of weight. Colonel Custard is having a first run in more than 12 months.
