Burguillos’ last victory came on this track but that was more than three years ago. However, he has only beaten half-a-length off this mark at Thirsk 11 days ago and the winner followed up at Ayr on Monday so Luke McJannet’s charge must have every chance of ending his losing run. ABUSHAMAH won at Beverley and Yarmouth last year and showed he is still capable at this level when keeping on over course and distance on his reappearance. Quicker going at Redcar next time would not have suited and he has continued to slip down the weights. Pettinger is worth another try over this trip and April Pearson steered Liam's Lass to a second career success here 10 days ago, though she now carries a penalty. Blairlogie has placed twice here already this year so can’t be ignored.
