Changing Skies is a tentative selection in this maiden, where there's not a great deal of form to go on, although there'll be supporters too of Skycap and Almonafis. The selection, Bryan Meehan's only runner on the card, is the most experienced in the contest, running a creditable 6th in the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot, but this will provide a more realistic route to the winners' enclosure. The going and draw shouldn't provide any problems. Skycap is the Godolphin first string here, the other being Red Falcon; Frankie Dettori gets the ride and he finished ahead of Almonafis in their only previous run at Yarmouth. Nothing from that encounter suggests the placings will be reversed, unless Almonafis learned more for the experience. With so little form to go on, including some debutants, market support could be significant, but we'll stick with Changing Skies.
