      Verdict

      Lady Fantasie gets our tentative nod here, ahead of First Choice and Makaluna. The selection needs to overcome seconditis having been runner up in her last three outings, but this sprint seller won't take a great deal of winning. Her form is the best of a moderate bunch, with none of the eight scheduled runners having won a race before. First Choice has been outclassed at a higher grade but could find this company much more to her liking, and if there's to be improvement to be found, Chris Catlin's the jockey to find it. Makaluna's been expensive to follow, but is gaining regular racecourse experience and should be involved in the shake up. But a marginal preference is for Lady Fantasie.
