In depth

Verdict

The second of Frankie's two rides at the meeting and, if the earlier race went to plan, he'll be looking for a quick double on MEZYAAD. The son of Tiger Hill makes his belated debut for Roger Varian today and won't have to be anything special to land this contest. The same can be said of fellow newcomer Star Alliance, who is a half-brother to the useful Wake Up Maggie, while Neat Sweep has the best form of those who have ran before judged on her debut fourth at Kempton last month. High Samana was well beaten on both his starts last season and Notabadlad makes no appeal on breeding.
