Verdict

Betabob's consistency can't be faulted but Nick Mitchell's eight-year-old has still only won once in 28 starts and is likely to find at least one too good here. Lordsbridge has form in better company but his jumping remains an area of concern, while L'Homme De Nuit was tailed off on his first start over fences and got no further than the third fence at Plumpton last time. Uncle Ant could be interesting now his attention is switched to fences but BATHWICK QUEST may be the one to be on now Brendan Powell's team is in better form. The mare likes to force the pace so should be clear of any potential problems behind and will find this easier than when taking on Qozak and Keki Buku at Taunton earlier in the month.
