ALADDIN'S LAMP has shown only a modicum of ability so far but Mark Johnston's colt should do better back in trip to six furlongs on this surface and he looks worth another chance, getting the verdict ahead of Paymaster In Chief and Super Fourteen. The last mentioned handled cut in the ground the only time that he has been tried on it when a close third in a Newmarket nursery and Richard Hannon's colt has to be respected on that evidence. Chris Wall's Nizhoni Dancer has already shown that he handles a soft surface and is another to consider but he may be a shade high in the weights, while Whisky Jack has not progressed from a promising first start. Michael Bell's Bussell Along has given little sign of encouragement so far and of more interest may be Mark Usher's Paymaster In Chief, who ran well on the soft at Chepstow two starts ago and he has to be respected on that form. Several have chances in this nursery but it is Mark Johnston's Aladdin's Lamp that gets the vote.
