Plenty of options in this opener but with Sands Of Barra not impressing on the all-weather on Friday night, the best option may be FINSBURY ahead of Mr Lu. The selection has form on soft ground and ran well in defeat last time. He has form on a variety of underfoot conditions and with this return to seven furlongs likely to suit, he should run well. Beetuna needs watching in the betting as a win looks to be around the corner after some fair efforts this season, Grand Diamond is a course and distance winner and should appreciate the drop in trip as he travelled well before tiring over a mile last time, whilst Mr Lu is unexposed and holding his form well. Chatanoogachoochoo is one to keep an eye on for this handicap debut, and whilst the consistent Pintano and Bold Indian are others of interest, in a tricky opener we will take a chance on Finsbury.
