Lobster Pot made all to land a Newcastle maiden on ground with plenty of give in August, her first start since last October. The runner-up has won subsequently so a mark of 71 could prove lenient. Allergic Reaction landed a minor handicap on heavy ground here in May and showed his versatility with a Polytrack victory last time though an 8lb rise looks harsh. Mister Mayday stepped up to this trip for the first time at Brighton last week and relished the testing ground. A 6lb penalty shouldn't prevent another big run. He had subsequent winner EXCLUSIVE WATERS close behind when scoring at Windsor earlier but the latter is 12lb better off and should have no problems turning the tables so is handed the vote. No Win No Fee has a big weight to carry but is on the same mark as when scoring at Nottingham in July so looks a threat to all with his rider's claim a bonus. Scoppio Del Carro won here last month and can be forgiven his subsequent run at Chester so he's another with claims in an open finale.
